Referral Scheme - opportunity for experienced sales representatives

If you are an advertising contractor, marketing agency, PR consultancy, self employed sales representative, or are just good at communicating with local businesses then join our reseller scheme and earn a 40% commission on all sales that you generate. This opportunity is on a commission-only, self-employed basis. The role is flexible, with involvement in as many or as few hours as you like. You don't pay us anything, and we do not employ you, we pay you only for the orders that you generate for advertising in our local magazines.

How It Works

You would get in contact with local businesses to tell them about our magazines. You may already have business relationships or are in communication with these potential customers. You may offer similar services and are wanting to extend your range of offerings to your clients.

When you sign up to the scheme you will be given a reference code which is unique to you. As an incentive to encourage businesses to advertise, you would pass on your reference code which gives them a 10% discount on any orders they make. We will send you a set of business cards including your reference code for you to hand out. This code allows us to track the order back to you and pay your commission.

If you are a marketing business that undertakes advertising on behalf of your customers, you can still use this system to get commissions. When you order advertising from us, give us your reference code and make it clear that the order is for your client rather than yourselves.

Please do not attempt to contact any existing or previous advertisers as you will not receive a commission on advertisers that we have sourced ourselves.

You can track your commissions online once you have signed up. Orders completed online and including your reference code will show up automatically in your account. Orders completed by invoice will have the commissions manually input, usually within 48 hours of receiving payment.

Your commission will be paid to you by cheque at the beginning of each month for orders paid the previous month.

Terms & Conditions

You cannot take payment from an advertiser, they must either book online or contact us for an invoice. You should tell the advertiser to quote your reference code for them to get a discount.

You cannot get a commission on any businesses that are owned in whole or in part by you.

If we don't receive payment for the order, you will not receive commission.

If an existing advertiser attempts to use your reference code to get a discount, it will not be logged and you will not receive a commission.

If a business advertises with us and does not log a reference code, they will not be eligible to use a code in future, as the order will be seen as a direct order sourced by ourselves.

We reserve the right to terminate your involvement if we feel that the system is being mis-used.
